BOOK THE OLD FARMHOUSE
THE OLD FARMHOUSE
Welcome to The Old Farmhouse.
Newly built on the site of a period farmhouse, this traditional-style property is the most beautiful holiday home, complete with imaginative design and décor and stunning views across the peaceful Perthshire countryside.
Stone walls, chunky timber barn doors and antique furniture co-exist with contemporary glass banisters and slate feature walls – together, they create a dreamy country retreat that welcomes you with open arms.
Four bedrooms – one double, one twin and two superkings (one of which can also be presented as a twin) – provide flexible accommodation for parties up to eight, and all four rooms have en suite facilities with a walk-in shower.
On the ground floor, a luxurious light-filled living room is the property’s beating heart, with three deep-filled sofas, fantastic views across the estate and a modern woodburner framed with a contemporary slate fireplace.
The generously proportioned open-plan kitchen/dining area is another brilliantly sociable space, with a formal dinner table that seats eight, and bar-style seating for four at the adjacent kitchen island. The well-appointed kitchen is fully equipped with all modern conveniences, including two built-in ovens, microwave, smart butler sink and a Tassimo coffee machine. There’s also a boot-room, with laundry facilities, for muddy boots and sports-gear.
Outdoors, you’ll enjoy access to a private garden, with your own hot tub and garden furniture. This private Perthshire estate and surrounding countryside also offer ample sporting opportunities – including grouse shooting, deer stalking, and salmon fishing.
Please note: The Old Farmhouse and four adjacent properties – Falcon Steading, Merlin Steading, Milton House and The Bothy – can be booked together to create luxury high quality accommodation for up to 28 guests. From September 2024, this will include access to a new dining experience room/building which is also the perfect venue for wellness retreats and small weddings or celebration parties. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate stag or hen parties at The Old Farmhouse.
Equipment such as BBQs, cots, private chef, etc. are all available on request and there is electric car charging on-site. Regretfully, dogs are not allowed.
