Developing Mountain Biking in Scotland
Favourites of ours are the Deuchny Bike Park in Kinnoull Hill Woodland Park just north of nearby Perth. The bike park has a good range of jumps and drops in a beautiful woodland setting. For a longer, majestic cycle route, try the Coronation Road, an ancient right of way to the forest of Scone, where ancient kings were crowned.
Comrie Croft is one of Scotland’s best mountain biking trail centres. Less than 30 minutes drive away from Logiealmond Estate you will find an award-winning 21km network of trails suitable for all abilities from beginners to experts. It boasts a skills park with berms, jumps, pump track, skinny climbs, and rock gardens, along with longer moderate, difficult and severe graded trails. There's a fantastic cafe and bike shop where you can hire bikes and equipment. Comrie Croft can also provide coaching and training.
